Cinque Terre
The National Park of Cinque Terre includes five villages: Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. From the campsite it is easy to reach by train or by boat (day trip). We offer a free shuttle bus to the train station (all year round).
The Cinque Terre have been inscribed on the Unesco World Heritage List in 1997 (protected territory as a system of naturalistic environmental interest) and are part of a Marine Protected Area.
The Cinque Terre National Park consists of five old villages of fishers and farmers who have been cultivating the land over time.
The Cinque Terre have thousands of kilometers of dry walling and terraced vineyards, ancient footpaths traced by the locals along the rocky coastline which dramatically cling to the sea cliffs like the famous Via dell’Amore (the Lovers’Way).
